friendship breakup
do guys even understand the significance of a friendship break-up. you know. where you say to a friend "i don't think we should be friends anymore". similar to a break up where you say to the person you're dating "i don't think we should see each other anymore."
i've never actually done the formal friendship breakup before, (to be honest, i'm not sure i've ever dealt with a proper actual breakup before either, but that's not the point here) but i am considering one at the moment.
i've let go of friends and acquaintances that deserve to be let go. and sometimes, i've even allowed them to come back, but never in the same capacity.
however the would-be dumpee in this example is a Y chromo, so i'm thinking the impact of the actual breakup would be completely lost on him. i think i might just revert to "avoidance" and see what happens. maybe he'll get the hint.
while i think the breakup would be a good thing on one hand. i think i'll be really sad. i think sometimes it hurts more to lose a friend than a relationship.

i think that friendships like yours can take a break and sometimes come back stronger. so, don't give up hope yet. just remember, you guys are friends for a reason. if you can't tell him the truth about how you feel, then what is the point in being friends. remember, don't attack him....just tell him how you feel.
anyway, he's more of girl than you are
Just a random reader who wanted to throw in my two cents (technically, I got here via Kate's blog which makes it less random; do you guys know each other from OSU?). You gotta love the blogging world.
Let me assure you that there are "Y chromos" among you who will appreciate the importance and will feel the sadness of the friendship break-up. I don't know your target, but if he even mildly intelligent and is worth a damn, he will feel this. And he will care. After having been the breaker and the breakee, mine is the (male) voice of experience. Trust me.
In other news, I think there should be a blog circle of people who are currently (or at least have been at one point) stuck in law school Hell. School in Toledo and work in Cleveland, yes? Sounds like a blast. That was really it for me. I do think your blog is great; the code names are an entertaining touch. You have a unique cadence to your writing and your lack of punctuation is frustratingly attractive - keep it up.
Hey A - D also posted a response to your screening process/application...he got a kick out of it. :)

Rk - i appreciate your advice always. but you know how i am with feelings :)
D - i love male opinions! thanks. i think we should start a support group for people in law school. one that serves lots of alcohol. come back and visit again, and let me know when you make your own application
kate - i miss you too!
Babe, where ya been? I know you're reading blogs, but I see no writing. It's been over a month!
